Off grid in the middle of 200 acres of farmland just an hour southwest of Portland. I stayed the night here while I was shooting photos of the property for a client a week or so ago. I had cell service at the cabin, but once I had finished taking shots the first evening I made the decision to turn off my data, get cozied up and read until the last light faded from the sky... once I couldn’t see the pages anymore, I went straight to sleep, listening to the sounds of the forest. It was a perfect reset from all the digital clutter of my daily life and I honestly think I’m going to try and start doing something to reset like this at least once a month, would you?😌📚
