Jessie on a Journey
The image is divided into four sections, each showcasing different scenes from what appears to be a park or nature reserve. The top left section depicts a serene lake or pond with a wooden dock or pavilion structure on the water's edge, surrounded by bare trees and a hilly landscape in the background, suggesting it's likely a winter or early spring scene. The top right section focuses on a colorful bird sculpture or artwork mounted on a pole, with its vibrant hues of blue, green, and orange contrasting against the bare branches of the trees. The bottom left section shows a winding dirt trail through a forest of leafless trees, with a fallen, twisted tree trunk lying across the path, adding natural elements to the scene. The bottom right section features a silhouetted figure walking along a path or bridge framed by the bare trees, creating a striking contrast between the dark foreground and the bright, blue sky visible through the arched opening.

Urban Hiking in Van Cortlandt Park

Had an awesome day #hiking in the #Bronx in the 1,146-acre Van Cortlandt Park. Some may scoff at the thought of "hiking" in #NYC, but when I have to pee in the forest it's hiking! There were definitely areas where I completely forgot I was in a city. I also learned a #scary fact at the onsite #nature center: over 1,000 stolen cars are found in NYC parks each year, and it's killing the environment. Yikes! But really, go explore this #park. Was definitely worth a 70-minute train ride from #Brooklyn!
