Jessie on a Journey
A first-person view from the perspective of someone water skiing on a brilliantly clear turquoise sea in what appears to be a tropical island paradise. The skier's legs and feet are visible in the foreground, clad in water skiing equipment and gripping two bright blue and yellow skis that are cutting through the crystal-clear water, leaving a foamy wake behind. In the background, a small rocky island or cliff formation can be seen jutting out of the water, along with another person being towed behind a boat, presumably also water skiing. The scene exudes a sense of adventure, excitement, and the thrill of trying a new water sport amidst breathtaking natural surroundings.

Trying Water Skiing in Saint Lucia

For me, travel is all about trying new things. While comfort often leads me to do the same types of activities on the road, today at @thebodyholiday in Saint Lucia I tried something completely new: water skiing! I'll admit I wasn't very good (at all), but it was a lot of fun, and gave me that feeling of true determination I haven't felt in awhile. It reminds me of a quote by Samuel Beckett I really like, "Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better." I'll definitely be trying this again 😁 A big thanks to @tullyluxurytravel, my lovely #sponsor for this trip!
