The Shawangunk Wine Trail Escape
This week I went on a fantastic trip with @ridebooker, a booking company offering high quality ground transportation across North America, who sponsored a trip to help me escape NYC and discover the beautiful Shawangunk Wine Trail. Not only is the storybook scenery, with its rolling hills and slower pace of life, intoxicating, so are the endless rows of seyval blanc and riesling. Each winery we visited had its own unique draw, such as being the oldest winery in America since 1839 (Brotherhood Winery) to having the most gorgeous setting to pair cabernet franc with Hudson Valley views (@benmarlwinery , shown above) to also serving homegrown fruit-laced hard ciders (@weedorchardsandwinery). It was a truly amazing day, and one I highly recommend. Best of all, because we were being chauffeured around in a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali XL we didn't need to worry about drinking and driving. Thank you, RideBooker!
