Jessie on a Journey
A group of pigs are swimming and frolicking in crystal clear, turquoise waters. The pigs appear to be brown with patches of blonde fur, and they have snouts and small, perky ears. They are completely submerged in the shallow water, with their heads and backs visible above the surface. The water is incredibly clear, revealing a sandy bottom beneath the pigs. The scene appears to be taking place in a tropical paradise, with the vibrant blue-green hues of the water contrasting beautifully with the golden tones of the pigs' fur.

Swimming with Pigs in the Bahamas

Once upon a time I traveled to one of the world's most beautiful -- and unusual -- destinations: the Exuma Cays, part of the Bahamas. Here you can swim with pigs! Locals brought the pigs to the island during the First Gulf War, just in case things got bad and they needed to repopulate their farm animals. The island is also home to sheep and chickens, although no people. The pigs have gotten used to humans coming to see them, so as soon as they hear your boat approaching they’ll run out of the bush and jump into the water, swimming up to your boat so you can feed them. Feel free to jump into the crystal waters and swim with them. Check out the adventure here: bit.ly/ExumasPigs * ** ***
