Jessie on a Journey
A scenic vista overlooking a vast body of water, with rocky cliffs in the foreground and the sparkling sea stretching out to the horizon under a brilliantly sunny sky. A lone hiker stands on one of the cliffs, taking in the breathtaking view. Puffy white clouds drift lazily across the deep blue expanse, and the sun's rays burst forth in a dazzling starburst effect. The landscape is rugged and arid, with sparse vegetation clinging to the rocky terrain.

Solo Hiking Adventure in Antigua

Recently I did something crazy: I went to Antigua solo -- and loved it! While I'll admit I romanced myself a bit with cocktails on the beach and long soaks in the hot tub, I also sought out some adventure through hiking šŸŒ² . . If you visit Antigua, don't miss an absolutely breathtaking hike to the Pillars of Hercules. The challenging trek was filled with gorgeous aerial views, a mix of Atlantic and Caribbean Sea paths and even history; while traversing dry jungle and tall cacti laced grasses we also passed British grave stones dating back to the 18th century, ancient cistern ruins and a guard house thatā€™s now a tourist attraction (with bar) dating back to 1791. šŸ‘ . .
