Jessie on a Journey
A panoramic vista of the historic city of Florence, Italy, captured from an elevated vantage point. The iconic Duomo di Firenze, with its magnificent terracotta-tiled dome designed by Brunelleschi, rises majestically above the terracotta rooftops of the city's Renaissance-era buildings. In the foreground, two striking white marble sculptures, resembling human figures in dynamic poses, contrast with the warm tones of the cityscape. Beyond the city skyline, rolling hills and mountains form a picturesque backdrop under a clear blue sky.

Panoramic View of Florence from Belvedere Fort

Loving this quirky view as I sip an Aperol Spritz at Belvedere Fort and take in an aerial view of Florence. ___ Located next to the city's famed Bardini and Boboli Gardens (10 Euros to visit both) -- which also offer great vistas -- I actually enjoyed the Fort much more (plus it's only 3 Euros to enter!). Along with an indoor multi-floor art museum, you can have a delicious lunch on the patio while taking in the view (check out the Duomo!) shown above. Loved the giant skeleton and other large-scale sculptures! ___ Where is your favorite place to take in a great view in Florence (or elsewhere in Europe)?
