Jungle Paradise: Escape to a Panamanian Eco-Lodge

Picture spending a few nights in a lush Panamanian jungle, tree frogs and the pitter patter of rain on the roof your bedtime soundtrack, while birds and monkeys act as your alarm clock. šŸ’ ___ To see the jungle, you donā€™t even have to get out of bed, as your room is open on three sides looking out toward Bocas del Toroā€™s dolphin-filled lagoon. During a hot outdoor shower, birds fly in to say good morning. ___ Onsite, you spend days kayaking through mangroves, hiking the onsite trails, discovering bat caves and learning how the property turns their cacao pods into delicious chocolate bars and desserts. šŸ¦‡ ___ At mealtime, you dine with other guests, savoring creative dishes laced mainly with local ingredients grown on their jungle farm. ___ Sounds incredible, right? šŸ˜ ___ Well this was exactly my experience while staying at @lalomajunglelodge on Bastimientos Island in Bocas del Toro, Panama. ___ The other aspect that makes a stay truly a heavenly experience: Thereā€™s no cell service or WiFi, so you canā€™t help but let the peace of the place wash over you. šŸ˜“ ___ Swipe right for a preview of the experience -- and yes, that silhouetted animal is a sloth. More to come on the blog in a few weeks! ā¬‡ļø ___ * * *
