The Power of a Passport: Unlocking Adventures and Self-Discovery
Truth: I would not be who I am today without my passport. Quite honestly, I look at my experience studying abroad in Sydney as an almost second birth; the experience where that wonderful travel bug bit and a new curious, confident, adventurous me emerged. ✈️

Thanks to my passport I've volunteered in placed like Asia and Latin America, hiked to the top of an active volcano in Nicaragua, backpacked for months through Europe and South America, road tripped through France and Italy, surfed the sand dunes of Namibia, learned the art of the tea ceremony in Japan, chilled out at the sustainable living resort @cocovivopanama (pictured here!) and so so so much more.

My passport has done more than simply allowed me to collect experiences and make memories, though. On the road -- especially when solo -- I've been able to grow my relationship with myself, realize what I'm capable of, and open my eyes to other cultures and ways of life. Of course, I can also thank my passport for turning me into an entrepreneur; taking me out of the cubicle and into the world to build the business of my dreams. Today, I can work from anywhere in the world that has Wi-Fi and earn a living. I don't think I even would have known this were possible if it wasn't for my passport. 🙏

🎉 ➡️ Okay, enough about me. Let's talk about YOU. Still need a passport? If you're in NYC this weekend, you can head to @nyhiltonmidtown on Saturday or Sunday (9 AM – 3:30 PM both days) to take part in their #PassportProject. You'll be able to submit your passport application *and* have your makeup done to upgrade your passport photos.

I'll be there myself on Saturday from 11am-1pm. Hope to see you there. Happy National Passport Awareness Month! 🎈
