Yellowstone National Park: Roosevelt Arch Entrance
"For the benefit and enjoyment of the people" ~Organic Act of 1872
⠀
President Ulysses S. Grant designated Yellowstone as the first US national park in the Organic Act of 1872. The boarders where modified years later to what it is today. Also, President Roosevelt laid the cornerstone for the now named Roosevelt Arch at the North Yellowstone entrance. The arch was added to add flare to the North entrance.

We left Yellowstone through this exit after dipping our feet in the Yellowstone River. It was cold but so refreshing. We saw mountain goats for the first time too!🐐
⠀
Yellowstone has a special place in our hearts and we loved being able to see all the animals and the incredible landscape. The landscapes are so different within the park.
