Mountain Hiking Adventure in Colorado

I love places that make you realize how tiny your problems are 🏞 Driving from Durango to Silverton is breath taking. The curvy road combined with the lush tall trees make me feel small and taken back by Gods craftsmanship. ⠀ It was a stormy day full of heavy rain so we turned around right before Silverton because we didn't feel safe driving on the curvy mountain road. Luckily, there are great turn off spots to explore waterfalls and see 14ers like Twilight Peak and Engineer Peak. ⠀ If you find yourself in southwest Colorado it would be advantageous to take the time and explore the San Juan National Forest, the land of many uses. Even for those of you that aren't outdoorsy. 😉 @ Purgatory
