Vibrant KOA Campground Mural

Support Local Artists 👨‍🎨 When we pulled into KOA this week we were so impressed by this mural. Cody Wombold was the artist and we were able to tell him in person how awesome his work was. . . We frequent KOAs a lot, we accumulate the points and have banked in multiple free nights and free yearly membership. All the KOAs we've stayed at are very kid and pet friendly and easy to get in/out and mostly level. The pools are always a hit when the weather is hot, the kids love the play grounds, and Diesel is a big fan of the dog park. . . We also love that each KOA is privately owned and are all unique with what they offer. In Carlsbad, NM they offered BBQ with delivery to your rig. In Tuscon, they had a full service restaurant with live bands, putting greens, fruit trees at spots, and a huge large dog park. At Lake Okeechobee in FL, that KOA had a golf course! . . Price wise, we've found then to be very comparable to other resorts that offer the same type of amenities. . . What's your favorite KOA spot you've been to and that we should add to our list?
