Save Money on RV Camping with Fairgrounds

Are all camping spots expensive⁉️ We get this question a lot from RV newbies who get sticker shock from RV Resort prices. While we do love to use Resorts every now and then, they can be expensive, are usually crowded, and require way in advance reservations. There are many options for cheaper stays including state parks, boondocking, membership parks like Thousand Trails, and overnighting in parking lots to break up long drive days. ✔️Our tip is to use Fairgrounds. There are hundreds of fairgrounds all over the country and offer full and/or partial hook ups for a decent price (<$25/night). We recently stayed at a fairground in Washington and practically had the whole place to ourselves. The staff was incredible and even taught the kids how to turn on the sprinklers so they could cool off whenever they wanted. The grounds were well maintained and if there is a fair or rodeo going on there will be plenty to do including animals to see and pet. ❓Have you stayed at a Fairground before❓ ❓What are ways you save on camping spots❓ Follow us for more RV insight ⤵️ @exploringoutsidethe303
