𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 ~ Part 1: Prepping for a trip! (Save for future reference) ✈️ Let your children be apart of the planning process. Have each child pick something to do in the location, that is important to them. ✈️Tell them about the things you will see and do on the trip ~ get them excited about it! If you’re going to a historical site, teach them about the history so they will have some context for what they will see. ✈️Start packing at least 2 days in advance so it’s not as stressful the day before. ✈️Gather whatever documents you need for each child (birth certificate, passport) ✈️Get a good night’s rest the night before so you can have a pleasant morning. (This is a hard one if you’re a last minute packer, but it makes such a difference) ✈️Have a talk beforehand about expectations and having a good attitude throughout the trip. ✈️Pack lots of snacks! ✨Follow our family adventures @eastcoast.blondies . . .
