Leading by Example: A Father's Love for His Daughters

💙 Many years ago we heard Elaine Dalton speak at a conference and her words resonated with my husband so much that he printed them out later and read them over and over. As a father, trying to raise daughters in a toxic world, he was impressed with the idea that the best thing a father could do for his daughter was to “love her mother”🥰 💙 She said, “By the way you love her mother, you will teach your daughter about tenderness, loyalty, respect, compassion, and devotion. She will learn from your example what to expect from young men and what qualities to seek in a future spouse. You can show your daughter by the way you love and honor your wife that she should never settle for less. Your example will teach your daughter to value womanhood” 💙 Bryce is all of that to me! He is a great example of how a man should treat a woman; with love and tenderness. Our children are watching and learning. So much of what we teach them is by our example rather than just our words.
