What to Do and Avoid in Bacalar, Mexico's 7 Color Lagoon

Looked up at the stars and found a galaxy… that’s the magic of Bacalar. 💫 Learnt so much about this wonderful slice of heaven on earth during the week I spent there so I compiled this list of what to do and not do when you visit. 📌Save this for your trip to Bacalar, ‘La Laguna de los Siete Colores’ (the 7 color lagoon). DO 🏄🏼‍♀️Go paddle boarding at sunrise - one of the most magical experiences of my life! 🏠 Stay @mbhmayabacalar at least for a night for a retreat in the jungle right on the lake 😌 Relax at Cenote Cocalitos, especially first thing in the morning (opens at 10) 🏊‍♀️ Swim at Cenote Azul ❤️ Respect the wonderful lagoon and travel mindfully 🌌 Put your phone on airplane mode and take in the beauty that surrounds you, especially the stars at night DON’T ❌ Use sunscreen while swimming in the lagoon & cenotes ❌ Touch the stromatolites (the oldest living lifeforms on our planet) ❌ Use the lagoon sand as exfoliation Let me know in the comments if you have any questions, I am happy to help! . . . . . . . . #BACALAR #Mexico #PreserveParadise #PreserveLeParadis #LagunaBacalar #BacalarLagoon #laguna7colores #whataview #bacalarmexico #visitmexico #pueblomagico #pueblomagicobacalar #quintanaroo #caribemexicano @pueblomagicobacalar
