Unforgettable Moments in Sweet Jordan

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they must be felt with the heart 💓🐪🏜 -helen keller Just wrapped up 10 days in Jordan - from floating in the Dead Sea 🦦 to roaming (over 20K steps 😅) around the Lost City of Petra to staying in Wadi Rum, which quite literally feels like sleeping on Mars - each experience was filled with so many incredible and unexpected moments that brought joy to my heart and soul…and just when you think it couldn’t get better, it does! Yeah there was the crazy 4 hour delayed flight on the way back to Italy, food poisoning on my arrival back, and a teary-eyed me the morning I was the first person in line at Petra only to discover I accidentally bought a one day pass and they asked me to pay another 70 USD to enter when really it would only be a 5 JOD ($7) difference 😱. But that morning I learned two lessons: 1. people are inherently kind (they let us in by just paying the 5 JOD difference) 2. a random act kindness can make a tremendous impact on someone’s life (a lady went out of her way to stop and tell me: Nothing in the world deserves your tears. I had never heard that before.🥺) When I arrived to Jordan one of the first signs I read was ‘Welcome to Sweet Jordan’ little did I know how truly sweet Jordan could be. ❤️ I’m excited to share more with you over the next few days including travel tips and guides, but for now be sure to check out my ‘Jordan’ highlight reel and drop any questions you have in the comments below! 🙃 . . .
