12 Monthly Travel Bucket List Experiences
In honor of another journey around the sun ☀️ here are 12 experiences to add to your bucket list, one for every month of the year 🥳
Plus, I’ll share my honest opinion if it’s a good time to visit or not, save this post! ❤️
(Not pictured December-February because I could only include 10 images!)
🇯🇴 MARCH - Mexico (Tulum) not the best time to visit because sargassum seaweed covers the beaches and it’s not fun 🙈
🌮 APRIL - Mexico (Chichén Itzá) an ideal time to visit IMO, the weather was just right!
🌵 MAY - Saguaro National Park. Camping under the stars surrounded by Saguaro cacti feels like being in a dream!! May was a great month to visit, just be careful hiking during the day, it’s really hot 🥵
🐪 JUNE - Jordan! everyone says to go in April and May, but visiting in June is the best because it’s quieter and the weather is still nice. Let’s keep this our secret, okay? 🤫
🏔️ JULY - Dolomites, Italy. You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced the Dolomites in summer. 10/10 recommend!
🇮🇹 AUGUST - Florence. Not the best time, it’s crowded and hot! But that’s a good excuse to eat more gelato am I right? 😋
🌊 SEPTEMBER - Sicily. AMAZING time to visit ☀️
🍁 OCTOBER - New England fall foliage road trip. Crowded but worth it!
🌴 NOVEMBER - Antigua. Honestly not the best time, the water was rough, if you’re looking for that crystal clear, calm Caribbean Sea, this isn’t the best month to visit. I was recommended to come back in February!
🌉 DECEMBER - NYC, freezing but worth it to experience Christmas in the city 🎄
🏖️ JANUARY - Mexico, much better time to visit IMO
🦥 FEBRUARY - Costa Rica, beautiful weather, but it’s high season and everything is very expensive. 😩 When you hear Costa Rica is expensive and you visit in February, you’ll understand why they say that 🙈. I would personally wait to go in the shoulder season (April, August, September, October)
Have you been to any of these places or which one is high on your list?! ❤️
