Our first time making homemade Meat Jun! Have you had it before? Meat Jun is a Hawaiian dish of Korean origin. I love meat jun because you can change up the recipe with your own meat such as chicken, fish, or the original rib eye beef. All ingredients can be found at @foodlandhi: • 1lb beef ribeye (thinly sliced) • 5 eggs • 1/2-1 cup flour • 3/4 cups shoyu (soy sauce) • 3/4 cups sugar • 2 cloves garlic • 1/2 cup water • cooking oil 1. Marinate thinly sliced beef ribeye with shoyu, garlic, water, and sugar for 1-2 hours in the fridge. 2. Once marinated, flour meat, dip in beaten eggs, and pan fry in oil. Cook the meat for 1-2 minutes or until it becomes golden brown. Flip and cook the other side. Dipping sauce: mix soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper or black pepper. This is in collaboration with my foodie friends for #SupportLocalCollab21 where we create a dish featuring local ingredients, local stores, or local brand. Thanks to @glitterandchopsticks and @diningwithraven for putting this together! 🥰
