Defining Photography Styles: Visual or Verbal?

Do you identify as a natural light photographer? How do you define your photography style when someone asks? Light and airy? Dark and moody? Bright and vibrant? Whimsical and dreamy? Personally, I’m not a fan of verbalizing my style of photography at all. If I say I’m photojournalistic, that’s going to mean one thing to my client and another thing to me and yet another thing to 100 other photographers. I like my work to be visual, not verbal. -
