Capturing Natural Connection
It’s the pose for me 🙌🏻
Yes, settings and location and light are obviously super important but sometimes getting couples to interact organically is my absolute top priority. I can have the most technically correct photo on the planet but if the client doesn’t love how they look in it, it’s not a win.
But the truth is I didn’t actually pose them. In fact I don’t particularly like to pose anyone I’m working with in a traditional sense. Instead I let my couples interact with each other and give them prompts and talk to them and we laugh and have fun together and the result is getting a bunch of images with natural expressions and real emotions that reminds them how they feel about each other, and not how I “pose” them.
