15 Years of Self-Employment and Photography Business

My biz turned 15 this month! SWIPE for the old promo video of mine!! Omgosh SO embarrassing!! 🙈 and no @robadamsfilms DID NOT film this - he was actually jealous of the guy (Michael DiChiaro) who did bc Rob and I had only just started dating at this point. - “They” say I should’ve failed as a business owner 3x by now if I behaved like the majority of small businesses out there. Some days I still can’t believe I get to take pictures for a living - and I absolutely cannot believe looking back at the old pictures (and wardrobe!! 🙃) what I thought was amazing photography. - I’ve had so many amazing mentors and peers (that video starts off with a quote from @joebuissink) that have helped push me along and given me tough love (ok a slap in the face) when I need it (like @salcincotta who took this picture). - Thanks to everyone who has helped push me to now 15 years of self employment with a craft I never knew could be a “real job”. - Image edited by @evotoai -
