đ¨ WARNING youâve been given BAD wedding planning advice (read description for more) #wedding
đ¨WARNING! Youâve been given really bad advice. âŹď¸
If youâre planning a wedding, you were likely told to make sure that your photographer is familiar with your venue.
But guess what? âThat advice is completely wrong, and hereâs whyâŚ
Let me introduce myself â Iâm a luxury wedding photographer with decades of experience daily based I New Jersey and Austin... but have flown to capture weddings in Lake Como, Napa, St LuciaâŚyou name it.
âĄď¸ And I can tell you right now, a *good* wedding photo almost has nothing to do with knowing the venue.
đ Basing your decision on whether or not a wedding photographer has been to your venue is a HUGE mistake.
Think about it... When you look at a photo of yourself, are you thinking, âWas this the best possible background?â
No. Youâre looking at YOU. How do YOU look? Do you look awkward or do you look your BEST? Can you feel the love between you two?
đ If not, you WONâT CARE about the background and it wonât save the photo either.
Itâs about finding the light that flatters you, knowing how to pose you to brings out your best, and communicating with you so your true, authentic selves shine through.
𫶠Thatâs how to capture the raw emotion of your wedding day and memories youâll love coming back to over and over again.
Ultimately, ANY good photographer that knows how to pose, light, and pull true emotion from you, is ALSO going to know how to make any venue look incredible, even if theyâve never been there before.
Plus, one quick Google search makes anyone familiar with any venue worldwide.
đˇ Is it a plus if your photographer has been to your venue? Sure, it can be. But it should never be a make-or-break decision.
