Would you?! It’s a controversial topic, but one I feel strongly about. My son is lucky to have lots of people who love him, and a week away from his mum barely went noticed. If a dad is away for work all week, no one blinks an eye. When Leo’s schedule doesn’t allow him to travel, my husband and I plan to take it in turns to travel solo too. Why would we not? It’s our passion, something we did long before we had kids, and something we will continue throughout our lives. Maybe travel isn’t your thing, but whatever your thing is or was, you shouldn’t lose it. Being a mum is a huge part of my life, and my family are the most important thing in the world to me. But it’s important to keep a bit of ‘me’ alive and kicking too.
