The Travel Mum
In the foreground, a woman in a colorful, floral printed dress is seen walking along a volcanic black sand beach, holding the hand of a young child wearing a sun hat and casual clothes. They are strolling towards the water's edge, with the child's other hand carrying a small pail, likely for beach activities. In the background, a striking contrast is formed by the towering cliffs of a volcanic rock formation. At the base of the cliffs, several resort-style residential buildings with a recognizable red roof can be seen, appearing to be part of a vacation destination or residential complex. The sky is a brilliant shade of blue, creating a picturesque and dramatic scene that highlights the unique natural beauty of this volcanic beach setting.

Volcanic Beach Paradise

What is your opinion of volcanic beaches?! 🌋 Personally I think they are incredibly beautiful and dramatic. I know a lot of people will turn their nose up in favour of typical white or golden sands. It’s interesting that how a place is “sold” and it’s general perception can affect people’s opinions. In the Canary Islands for example, a lot of people specifically look for the artificial white sand beaches over the natural black volcanic ones, but in Santorini, where its “black beach” is sold as one of the main tourist hotspots - people flock to see it. Whatever your opinion - there are four beaches reachable on foot from Playa del Cura in Gran Canaria- this being the first and the next 3 being golden sand beaches. I know my Instagram stories are full of me hyping this place up, but honestly, this is such a great place for a family holiday 🤩 #grancanaria #grancanarias #canaryislands #wintersun #familyholiday #familyholidays #thetravelmum #thetravelmumuk #toddlertravel #travelwithtoddlers #babytravel #travelwithbaby #familytravel #travelfamily #travelblogger #playadelcura #grancanariainfo #mogán
