The Travel Mum
A woman with long, flowing blonde hair is standing on the waterfront of a picturesque town, gazing out across the sea. Behind her, charming seaside buildings line the shoreline, their colorful facades of white, blue, and red creating a vibrant contrast against the vast expanse of water stretching out before her. The buildings appear to be a mix of residential and commercial properties, with some featuring outdoor seating areas and balconies overlooking the calm waters. In the background, rugged hills or mountains can be seen, adding a touch of natural beauty to the scene. The woman's striped dress and the overall atmosphere suggest a warm, Mediterranean climate.

Scenic Waterfront in Mykonos, Greece

» Little Venice is one of the most popular areas of Mykonos, Greece. There are lots of fancy (aka over priced) cafes and restaurants along the sea front there, but to be honest I didn’t really get the hype. It was definitely the busiest area of the town, and for me busy (plus expensive) ruins even the most beautiful of places. Cruise ship tours were here, there and everywhere. Everywhere you looked guides were holding these long sticks in the air with tired looking soft toys attached to the end, with a group of 40 pensioners rushing behind them. The area does make for a nice self indulgent “looking into the distance” insta snap, but I much preferred other areas of Mykonos town that I will post in a few days time.
