The Travel Mum
The image depicts a group of people, likely friends or travelers, on a hiking trail surrounded by lush, jungle-like vegetation. In the foreground, a woman with long, curly hair wearing a blue shirt is embracing a bearded man with a joyful expression, posing for a selfie-style photograph. Behind them, several other individuals wearing blue shirts can be seen walking along the narrow dirt path, their bodies partially obscured by the smoke or mist rising from the ground. The foliage around them is dense and verdant, with tall trees towering overhead and a small stream or waterway visible in the background. The scene exudes a sense of adventure, camaraderie, and exploration amidst the natural beauty of what appears to be a tropical or jungle setting.

Jungle Adventure with New Friends

Jungle medicine while sleeping in the Colombian jungle was definitely another highlight of this year! 🐍👩🏼‍⚕️ Sierra Nevada is such a beautiful part of Colombia, and it’s always worth leaving the typical tourist paths whenever you can! From here my favourite places I visited were Cartagena (definitely worth visiting for the beautiful architecture alone!) and Barranquilla for carnival! 🎊 . . . Travelling alone sounds scary for a lot of people, but even though I’m “travelling alone”, I’m never by myself for long. Ive made so many friends this year who I would have never met if I wasn’t alone in a strange country 😝 . . .
