The image depicts a breathtaking scene of two towering limestone karst islands rising majestically from the tranquil, emerald-green waters of a lake. The islands are cloaked in lush, verdant vegetation, with trees and foliage cascading down their sheer, rugged cliffs. The water surrounding the islands is a stunning shade of turquoise, reflecting the clear sky above. The composition of the image, with the islands occupying the center and the calm waters stretching out around them, creates a sense of serenity and natural beauty.

Breathtaking Limestone Islands at Cheow Lan Lake

⌄ 📍Cheow Lan Lake, Khao Sok National Park is almost certainly the most spectacular place I’ve ever been. It’s one of those places that pictures can’t ever really do justice (but my next mass of posts will try their best 😝👌🏻) ⌄ ⌄ It was only created in the 80s when the Rajjaprabha Dam was made as a way of sourcing electricity for south Thailand. It’s over 30km long and is surrounded by amazing jungle covered lime stone cliffs. Soooo much to say about this place but will save some of it for the Khao Sok spam on my feed this week 😄👌🏻 ⌄ ⌄ #cheowlanlake #khaosok #khaosoknationalpark #thailand_ig #thai_ig #thailand🇹🇭
