The Blumes
A bride in a white wedding gown and a groom in a black suit stand facing away from each other in an ornate wooden doorway, surrounded by lush greenery. The bride gazes wistfully to her right, while the groom looks pensive to his left. The soft, warm lighting creates a romantic and intimate atmosphere, highlighting the delicate details of the bride's veil and the texture of the groom's suit. Despite their physical separation, the image captures the emotional connection between the couple on their special day, conveying a sense of anticipation and tradition.

Wedding Day First Look Alternative

More couples now enjoy a private "first look" on their wedding days -- when they can actually speak to one another, let their nerves melt, and really process the sacredness of their relationship without an onlooking crowd. But a few couples still enjoy keeping the tradition of not seeing each other before their ceremony. So what do you do in that case, when the light is perfect for couple's portraits and time will be cut short later, yet the bride and groom aren't ready to see one another? It's a challenge for sure, but the perfect opportunity for creativity! We love finding locations that tell the couple's story and celebrate their traditions this way. They may not see each other at the moment, but they LOVE being able to see later what was hidden from them at this emotional moment! BTW, this very special wedding is published NOW in the current print issue of #JezebelMagazine nationally! :)
