Free Portraits for Veterans Project Announced

Whoa.. double take! Is that me?! No, I was never in the #airforce. (Though I did at one time hope to serve as an imbedded war photographer.) My dad, James Blume, on the other hand, served our country honorably..and met a pretty swell lady named Mary as a result. (As we know, those who stand alongside our nation's servants are serving, too!) I'm so proud of my dad, of Eileen's dad (who left the Philippines to serve in the US #Army, and of all our #veterans. So we're excited to announce a new #personalproject we're beginning this #VeteransDay. We will be taking a series of studio portraits of older veterans -- preserving their stories and memory for the families and communities who love them. Do you know a vet? Additionally, if your veteran still has his or her uniform and/or an old portrait from the service years, be sure they bring it into Blume Studio, #AthensGa.
