Bride and Bridesmaids on Stage

Inspired by Elizabeth's love for the performing arts (she performed many, many times over the years on this very stage) we escaped with her out from the less attractive "green room" -- where getting ready was taking place -- and borrowed the auditorium, complete with its perfectly placed spotlights, for this dressing portrait. We kept our eyes open for the stage to become available, then had only 5 minutes between rehearsals. Nor was she actually getting dressed here, since her mother helped her dress later at the wedding venue. But iconic images that truly say something about your subject should always be your aim -- the golden nugget you search for throughout any project. When we saw this in back of the camera, we knew it was something special.
