Fashion Shoot on Great Wall of China

Take a guess! What do you think is the greatest challenge when shooting fashion atop the Great Wall of China at 12:00pm NOON?⠀ .⠀ The harsh, directly overhead sun? The heat reflecting up from the huge stone structure? Severely limited access to electricity, washrooms and other utilities? All those are big obstacles. But the biggest is...⠀ .⠀ The crowds! Setup and lighting is a breeze compared to shooting around the huge crowds of tourists. It takes patience and a lot of repetition -- 1. compose, 2. draw out pose and expression, 3. re-frame because a tourist just ran in front of your camera!..⠀ .⠀ This shot was a winner!
