Capturing Cultural Beauty in Indian Wedding Photography

I wanted to share something visually and culturally different from our usual work today. This image showed up in my previous #ShutterMagazine article about researching and prepping for culturally unique weddings. We've photographed Buddhist, Hindu, Filipino, British and other weddings abroad, and it's amazing how many unique and story-rich details you might be unaware of if you aren't paying attention. My background in #photojournalism makes it an irresistible challenge to tell those stories truthfully and beautifully as possible. It's especially a joy when we're honored to serve a couple as loving and kind as Khyati and Jigar. I love the tenderness and commitment visible in this image and their expressions.
