Why Do You Flip Furniture?
Everyone has a why! Why do YOU flip furniture? ⠀
⠀
Is it to help make ends meet for your family? Is it to save for travel? Is it to pay off a loan? Is it for the therapy of painting? Is it because you were bored and wanted to try something new? What’s your why?⠀
⠀
Dani’s Why: I started flipping furniture to go into business with my mom- so we could spend more time together and be creative together. I love that it’s challenging and constantly requires me to solve problems (although I didn’t know that would be a thing until after we started). And financially, I did it so I could contribute to our travel fund. We are obsessed with traveling locally and globally. And the more I can contribute, the more we can travel, and the more memories we can create with our kids before they move out. Adopting our kids at the ages of 9, 10, and 12 really limited the number of years we get with them in the house, so we try to make each year count and give them memories that will last a lifetime. ⠀
⠀
Sherry’s Why: My why has nothing to do with money, money doesn't motivate me at all. What does motivate me is being able to take decrepit things and make them new. I'm a fixer and I love to make things beautiful when I can. And I love painting. I even like sanding, it is therapeutic.⠀

We’d love to hear. What is your why? Why did you get into furniture flipping?⠀
