Furniture Flip Friday - Transformed End Tables
Happy #furnitureflipfriday! I’m not sure if that’s a thing, but if not, let’s make it a thing! Every Friday, I’ll try my best to post a finished furniture flip along with a before...because who doesn’t love seeing incredible transformations?!? I hope you’ll join in the fun.⠀
⠀
These Mersman end tables (aka- the Jetson tables, as Pops refers to them) were in terrible shape. The gal we bought them from practically gave them to us. She kept apologizing for the condition they were in. The wood legs were all splitting, the laminate was peeling off, and they weren’t even sturdy enough to support a lamp. Well after hours and hours and hours and hours of sanding, my mom was able to transform these into pieces many would LOVE to have in their home.⠀
⠀
We posted them for sale at 9pm on Marketplace and we had 3 full offers by the time we woke up! We purchased them for $20, spent $25 in materials, and sold them for $295 in less than a day. $250 profit! I’d like to say it was easy money, but that’s because I didn’t even touch these pieces until it was time to stage them. My poor mom, on the other hand, wasn’t too sad to see them go.⠀
