A month in books. This kid takes after Mom and has multiple books going at one time - often piled up next to her… or all over the living room… or her bedroom. . She’s a mess, but she’s reading! . All the “I Survived” we own. Rereading all the “Ivy and Bean”. A toe into the “Who Was Books”. And a library new “Land of Stories”. Mix into those a few extra audiobooks if “I Survived” on Scribd and our family reading. . Easier books build confidence? I’ve heard it said, and I think it’s true with this kid. Thicker books look overwhelming, but enjoying a story just for fun and learning is where she is right now. . This kid’s mom may let her slack on math, but it’s so hard to tell a kid to stop reading!
