The girl is leaning forward with her arm resting on a ledge, deeply engaged in examining the ancient text and symbols etched on the stone's surface. The scene conveys a sense of curiosity, learning, and appreciation for historical artifacts.

Rosetta Stone Replica Captivates Young Explorer

Isn’t it great when you get confirmation that your travels have an impact? And they’re learning as we go.... without a “class”? ;) . We have been to this museum many times, but this was our first time since going to the British Museum earlier this year. This trip, however, they paid attention to the Rosetta Stone replica. And remembered that we had seen it in London... or attempted because it was so crowded by people that we couldn’t even get close. . We passed it for ten seconds six months ago. But it stuck. I showed them it’s the one in Houston. And this time, they wanted to look at it. . My oldest relayed to me the languages on it and the reason it was important. We discussed how it was from Napoleon’s exploration on Egypt. How they knew Greek in Egypt because of Alexander the Great which led to Ptolemy.. and she brings up Cleopatra knowing seven languages so Greek was probably one. They can find all those places on the map and sing you some CC songs about Napoleon too. . They’re making memory pegs everywhere and adding and adding from all parts of life. And next time we go, we will add a next layer, and big brother may narrate back to little sister the detail she forgot. . Live it. Learn as you go. It’s a beautiful process.
