Reclaiming Wonders
A vibrant pink inflatable swimming ring sits atop a floral patterned fabric, contrasting beautifully with a teal green hardcover book titled 'The Call of the Wild + Free: Reclaiming Wonder in Your Child's Education' by Ainsley Arment. The book cover features lush green illustrations of fern-like plants and text in an artistic font, evoking a sense of nature and freedom. The overall scene suggests a connection between outdoor recreation, homeschooling, and embracing a life of simplicity and adventure.

Embracing the Wild and Free Homeschooling Lifestyle

Homeschooling is a lifestyle. Not a school choice. Not a jumped into plan. Not easy. But an all-encompassing mind switch that non-homeschoolers may not “get”. I talk about it often, seek out like minded mommas, and see al parts of life differently because of it. In a good way. I’m welcoming the new year with an amazing new homeschool mom book full of the encouragement I need for the battle. And to be reminded that it’s worth it. And it’s okay to be different. “As parents, we can choose to set the boundaries for our own children, learn to say no, and be the guardians of their childhood, which exists only for a brief moment in time. We must guard their hearts, protect their play, and give them the freedom to focus on being kids. Their futures depend on it.
