Rainy Day Gardening Lessons

How to homeschool lesson 5,666: Sometimes a gardener just has to brave the rain to gather his tomatoes for supper... Because he wanted them to get just a bit more red during the day. . . Then we had a lesson about the wisdom of umbrellas when it’s thundering. You can’t win them all ;) . . This was after he enlisted me to spread cardboard and mulch to kill more grass and expand his front flowerbed garden... The kid has a plan. I’m just sitting and watching. It all counts. Life school.
