Picnic at Moundville, Alabama

Picnic lunch after driving in from Meridian, Mississippi - after Expedia frustration the night before. I slept under white sheets in luxury so no complaints. One of my big destinations was Moundville, Alabama and we arrived late morning after a winding road through pretty countryside and a stop for picnic foods in small town life ;). These Native Americans with their big open quiet spaces sure could make a girl want more of such in her real life. And the kids with their sticks and leaves... Again. Lots of energy burning with running around.
