Peaceful Kayaking in Colorado's Mountains

Morning kayak trips into the lake were some of our favorites this last week. Calm water. Bald eagle flying above. Peaceful. Quiet. And those blue Colorado mountain skies. Just the thing these crazy kids need to regroup while Colorado camping. . . One kayak pro. One new on-her-own kayakers. And this Momma whose prearranged date with the moose didn’t happen in the early morning. ;). He stood me up. I waited. And went back. And waited more. The nerve!
