Peaceful Cabin Staycation with Kids

This was the longest we had even stayed at a rental house before and a new trend I have a feeling. Enough time for me to "do enough" and time for G to "relax". Long enough to feel like I don't have to go go go... I could pretend we sat around reading and playing games and singing Kumbaya... but when we were at the cabin, there were some nights of Fixer supper and Halloween Wars On Food Network. And some games ;) sometimes that's what it takes to maintain peace... and brief quiet I might have hidden in my room a couple of times. And Roku in the kid's bedroom allowed for some sleepy mornings. Bonus!
