Neighborhood Cleanup with Kids

The sun came out today, and we went out in a mission. Armed with Walmart bags, we went to pick up trash that had floated in our neighborhood waterway. I love that the kids want to helpnit and we're excited to do it. Until we got distracted gathering snail shells ;). Meghan is ready to design a badge to wear when she goes trash gathering to remind people to not little. She's going to name it "GD" for good-doers. I didn't encourage it ;). So I encourage you. Don't just sit at home wishing you could do more, go do something as simple as picking up the trash that collected!
