Nature Trail Discoveries: Butterflies, Wildflowers, and a Cool Snail

Just in case you might be delusional and think we get out our sketch books and admire nature through our pocket magnifying glasses... here’s the usual truth. . . Mom: Guys, look how cool! Kid: Yeah, Mom. We have snails at home. —- says the kid who just yesterday was catching butterflies outside and bringing them inside to show us. I guess you have to be “in the mood” . . Orange jewelweed. Spring azure butterfly. Turk’s cap lily. And really big snail. Who really was cool. I’m a day early for the homeschool challenge but we spent the day in nature. Seems apropos ;)
