Reclaiming Wonders
The image is composed of three separate photographs. The top photograph depicts a young girl with long blonde hair styled in a braid, wearing a bright green long-sleeved top, sitting at a table and drawing on a piece of paper with colored pencils or markers. The image on the paper appears to show a vase or glass sculpture with a pink and green floral design, likely inspired by glasswork the girl saw at an art museum. The middle photograph is a close-up shot of a large, vibrant red and yellow blown glass sculpture resembling a flower or sea creature, with intricate patterns and textures. The sculpture is illuminated, creating a warm, glowing effect. The bottom photograph shows a collection of various colorful blown glass sculptures, including abstract shapes, flowers, and organic forms. The pieces appear to be part of a museum or gallery exhibit, with the sculptures arranged artistically against a dark background.

Museum Visit Inspires Young Artist

This is why we go to art museums. And why you should. Despite your children's whining and less then ideal behavior... You come home to find her proudly drawing some glass flowers like the blown glass ones at the museum. Complete with the reflection as we saw on the stone under the sculptures. The reflection using the techniques she learned in her homeschool group including the day you taught her class (even after she had previously declared you to not be qualified)--- she fondly recalls that day it seems. Good job, Meg. Expose your kids to stuff. Who knows what they actually might be paying attention to.
