Mother's Day Nature Adventure

Happy Mother's Day to me. After work half day trip to Brazos Bend complete with nature walk, grilling some hot dogs at the day use area, first telescope outing, and lots of mosquitoes. Did I mention tree climbing? During our nature walk, Cooper identified a cardinal call correctly because he had gone camping near some last time... and learned it! That kid is planning his future outdoorsy life and loves every part of it.
