Making Beeswax Wraps with My Kid
Mom truth. My kids love one-on-one projects. But I don’t do them very often. I mentally turn them into a big potential mess or time requirement and don’t do them. Excuses as they sit on the shelf.
.
But then I hear them brag about what they made to Dad or Grandma, and I remember how much I need to carve out this time.
.
This project making beeswax wraps wasn’t hard. I allowed her to push herself with the iron - she loves ironing! And the project brought her joy - bonus that there’s a tangible useful result at the end.
.
We learned a better way to make wraps than I’d seen before! I see homemade Christmas presents coming 😉
.
Check out this inexpensive project - link in my stories under “Kid Fun” - and jump into an hour of crafting with your kid. And if you’re looking to make some wraps yourself, this Purple Ladybug Beeswax Food Wrap kit comes with enough fabric to make four, but enough wax for six or more. Cheaper than buying them already made! Thanks @plbfun for introducing them to our day. #giftedproduct
