Luggage Drop Tips for City Explorations
Train travel? Love it. It means I’m off an adventure… And that I’m hopefully in Europe 🎒
When traveling from Edinburgh to London, the train went right through York. But it was a morning arrival and too early for check in.
What to do? Get rid of it! We dropped off the stuff and made a day of seeing all the history in York.
Where to drop:
👉Check the train station for lockers
👉Consider luggage drops at museums you will be visiting. In London, we stored all our bags at the museum’s coat check before heading to our rental apartment.
👉Experience short term hostel life by paying hourly for them to watch your bags. (Stirling 🙋♀️)
👉Contact a nearby hotel. Bonus if you are a member of their loyalty program.
👉Download @stasherofficial for a map of places that have agreed to allow short-term luggage drops.
👉Be brave and ask a nearby cafe, bar, or hotel.
👉Or just Google it online!😉
Don’t let your stuff keep you from seeing the sights. Drop it off and take off. Adventure awaits!
