Reclaiming Wonders
A large skeleton of a dinosaur is suspended from the ceiling of a museum exhibit hall. The skeletal structure appears to be that of a gallimimus, a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. The elongated neck and slender body with long legs and tail bones are characteristic of this type of dinosaur, which was likely an agile and swift-moving omnivore. The exhibit space features ornate architectural details with arched windows and decorative moldings, creating a grand setting for the impressive fossilized remains.

Gallimimus Dinosaur Exhibit at Natural History Museum

“It’s a.. galli... galli... gallimimus... It’s flocking this way...” Jurassic Park. Accurate teaching and the best science book out there ;) At least it gave us some name recognition! And this Dino is spot on with the movie. Unlike our velociraptor friends. I like the way the #naturalhistorymuseumlondon Does their dinosaurs. It’s not just bones. It compares their bodies to that if modern day animals to show what their base their understanding on. One next eggs were trampled so the babies probably lived in the nest for a while vs the best with whole eggs that left the nest. Clever girl!
