Kids' Summertime Splash Pad Fun

Kids these days... šŸ˜„ If they could go back to our childhoods and know that giant buckets weren’t suspended above our heads or that there weren’t splash pads or that playgrounds had metal bars for climbing on 🤣 . . I feel like such an old fart saying things like that!! Will our grandkids play on hoverboard structures or what? . . Thankful for friends - both the adult and kid version - who gather for fun and talk and giggles and water. Where the four year old plays kickball with the 13 year old. Here’s to simple play dates where I park my butt at the park, announce the day, and see who wants to join. . . We all need people. Especially ā€œour peopleā€ who love and affirm and encourage and care. Waaay more important than that extra math lesson or cleaning the house! . . Are there splash pads all over or is this just a southern US thing where it’s so hot? Maybe I’m just assuming...
